I Only Just Met Clive Today, He Came To My School And Told The Story Of Matthew's Tragedy. And It Really Has Made Me Think Twice About Drinking Alcohol. I Respect What He Is Doing, If I Was Him I Couldnt Do That, Going Round The Schools Telling The Story Over And Over Again.. I Was Moved By It Today And I Really Really Respect Clive, And That Steve ( I Think That Was His Name ,, Not Quite Sure ) Said That He Is The Same Man Before This Happened And He Hasnt Stopped Drinking. You Are Really Brave, In My Eyes.
Will Always Think Twice ABout Drink Now, No Im Not Going To Not Drink When Im Older But I Wont Abuse Alcohol.
My Love Goes Out To Everyone Who Knew Matthew.. And Even Though He Isnt Here He Can Still Live On In Memory..
Love Adele x

Hi
I went to school with matthew i used to see him in town and we stopped and talked that was the last time i saw him. When i heard he died i was extremely shocked and i think about him every day an still do.

I knew matthew quite well when i was in school with him in commonweal, he was always known to me as the big friendly giant. He was not only a good friend but a true gentleman that would never let a horrible word leave his mouth and would always stick up for anything he truly belived to be right. I am now in the army and experience loss of people occasionally depending on the environment I am in, and to all of them the world is a sadder place without them but I still belive it is better to have known them than to have never. Rest in Peace matthew and my thoughts are with the parents.

Clive,
I have so much respect for you for how you have been able to help others become aware of the dangers of Alcohol after Matthew's passing. I truely hope your efforts with working in college's & attending presentations will prevent anything as tragic as what you went through with Matthew happening to anyone else.
My thoughts are with you as allways.

You are really brave speaking to a class all about your tradgedy and not even looking to sad. Your talk has really made me think about alcahol and its affects and i shall be carefull in the future of how much i drink. i will also remember that your parents would rather be picking you up from a party in the midlle of the night than having to go down the hospital in the middle of the night. thanks for your talk. james.

i stumbled across your website by mistake, looking for answers on how to drink sensibly.I didnt know your son but also have lost a love one and just felt to tell you how sorry i am for the lose of your son matthew. Its never nice to here of young people dying in such tragic ways. people tell you they know how you must be feeling. which is a kind thought but really how could they truly know. i admire what you are doing and the strength that it takes,so other perants dont have to go though what you have.thank you
